Happy Birthday Princess Grace!

Our little princess, with her big personality, turned 3 on May 1st. Oh how we love her! I asked her what she wanted to do for her birthday and she told me to invite all of her friends over. It was such a fun day. I have to say that putting together a pink princess party was a little more fun for me than the spiderman theme that Trey has had for the past 2 years. We enjoyed dressing up, decorating jewelry boxes, chick-fil-a, cup cakes, the bounce house, and just being with our friends and family.

I know every parent talks about how they can't believe how fast the time goes, and that they can't believe that their child is ___ years old....but now I understand. Where did the past 3 years go? I still remember holding her when she had colic and wondering when she would stop crying, getting up to feed her at 2 am for 9 months straight, nursing her for a year because she refused to take a bottle, and being excited when her hair was finally long enough to hold a bow. She is now in full girl mode. We laugh because we never know when she is going to make a wardrobe change. I think she changes clothes once every 30 minutes or so. This came in handy with her potty training herself, but it is hard to keep up with her need to change clothes constantly (including her underwear).

She is still pretty good about trying just about any type of food, and then letting you know whether or not she likes it. She loves her preschool class and her teacher Miss Nicole. She has adapted so well to sharing a room with Emma, hopefully that won't change! She still sleeps with her "white" blankie...which is actually more of a dirty pink, and she now brings a pair of shoes and a brush to bed with her (in case she needs them in the middle of the night, who knows). She loves Trey, but has no problem standing up for herself and screaming if he is close to hurting her in any way. She pretty much only wears dresses right now. I bought her a t-shirt and shorts and she told me that t-shirts were for sleeping in....and the shorts don't twirl. She really appreciates it when I dress up, one day she didn't like my outfit so she brought me some clothes from my closet to change into.

I am so thankful for you Grace. God has definitely blessed me with 2 very special girls (and one awesome boy)!
