is really not a good thing for little kids and their parents. We did remember that the clocks were to spring forward on Sunday, but we were still running behind, about 10 minutes before we were supposed to leave for church we were still in our p.j.'s and no one had finished eating breakfast. We decided to have church at home, or something like that. Today has been no different. Trey, Grace, and I all slept late (poor Kenny had to get up and go to work). I didn't even get them down for a nap until 2:30. I'm looking forward to the two weeks it takes to get used to the time change.
Over the past week we got to meet Swede's beautiful girlfriend, my mom came in town, we saw my BFF from college Mandy, and we ate dinner with the Joseph's. A fun week filled with lots of food and friends.
Projects: I abandoned the painting of the hall. Actually I will take a picture of my finished portion.... I am going to wait until we can hire someone to come and finish it. I am just burned out on painting rooms. That being said, I started painting the kitchen chairs to match the table (it will all be black). Somehow it is different than painting walls, this is my first attempt at painting with oil-based paint. I am really enjoying how hard it is to get off of skin. Trey is convinced that I am dirty because I have black paint stains all over me and he says it smells. We also picked a fabric to go on Kenny's grandma's old sofa that we have been meaning to have recovered for 5 years. I'll make sure to post before and after pictures of that. That's all for now, I probably should go wake up the kids, it's about 2 hours before they need to go back to sleep if we are ever going to get back on the same schedule!
