Has it been a week already? It was really nice having the opportunity to be away with my BFF for 5 whole days. Besides unintentionally cutting her food into small bites and reminding her to use a kind tone when she talks to me, I was able to slip back into the role of of having no kids pretty easily. I'm glad to be back home, but it was nice to spend a week laying out by the pool, eating whatever I liked whenever I wanted to, sleeping in, reading, talking.... It was great. We did one of those all-inclusive trips, which I would highly recommend. One of the best surprises was the entertainment staff. There was one guy in particular that we liked to watch whenever we got the chance. He was just so flamboyant. We also learned to salsa dance and I snorkeled for the first time. Our only mishap (if you would call it that) would the ferry ride we took from Cozumel to Playa. Apparently I really do get seasick. Sweet Amy wasn't feeling great either, but she held my head while I willed myself not to vomit. We also almost missed the last ferry ride back to Cozumel and were confronted by the Mexican police, but no worries we made it back. Worst case scenario would have meant we had to stay up until 6 am for the next ferry ride. That would have been no problem since we are always up late partying..... right. It was fun. I've enjoyed the memories of the trip this past week as I have gotten back into my mommy role. Today's highlight was that Trey pooped in the potty....yeah. Thanks again Amy for a great vacation, thank you mom for coming to stay with the kids, and thank you Kenny for saying it was okay. Love you all.

Now, Elizabeth, why ever did you not post the picture of you drinking TWO margaritas? If I could figure out how to post that picture, I would! I really wish we were still there! More than ever now that school has started back up! Miss you! Can't wait for our next trip! Aruba? Jamaica? Bahamas? Come on. Pretty mama!
You left your sweet children at home... what kind of mom are you? A SMART one! I read this and asked Mark if I could go on a vacation like that... I will be living vicariously through you.
