18 months of FUN!

Trey was 18 months old on March 21st....where does the time go? He is trying to do so many things now and he gets very frustrated when he can't figure out how to do something. It is hard to believe that when he was 10 months old he was not even crawling...or wanting to crawl. Now I can't keep track of him. This is what today was like.

He had found some coke to drink out of a fast food cup, before I knew it most of it was all over him and he was very angry when I took it away from him. We were trying to wait a little longer to introduce him to coke, I guess we should just give up and give him a snickers bar for breakfast.

We went to the Galleria play area and met up with our friends Sheila and Brittnie Wright from Houston (I meant to get a picture, but he was not in the mood once they arrived). He loves the play area and I love going to the Galleria.

I was busy talking on the phone, so he kept himself busy. He actually did put some of the tissues back in the box.

At last, Kenny is home and Trey is almost ready for bed. He is sleeping so well at night (finally) so we are all feeling a little more rested, and I am feeling a little more ready to start over with the night time feedings. Only 9 more weeks to go!

We miss you Daddy!

Kenny is almost done with his two weeks of training on the east coast, and we really miss him. Trey keeps saying daddy over and over again, I have explained where he is....but I don't know if he completely understands. We will be very excited to see him on Sunday!

Meanwhile, Trey and I have been keeping busy...going to the park, hanging out with my mom, watching Elmo, discussing paint colors for the new house, going to doctor's appointments, and saying the word car over and over again. We actually were able to take my mom by the new house while she was in town. Trey was very excited to see a backyard. I'm sure his plastic play equipment will go well with the bird bath and flowers. I tried to get the pacifier out, but he insisted that it needed to be in for the picture.

Fun Times in Temporary Housing

Trey was ecstatic when he learned that we would be moving into a house in April.

With his toys in storage for an extended period of time he has had to make due with some of the items sitting around the apartment. I'm sure there is a warning label on the cat carrier somewhere that says "keep away from children".
We will actually be in a house before the baby comes in May. There will probably be a few boxes left to unpack, but I'm sure Trey and Kenny won't mind taking care of the left over unpacking.

A few pictures of Trey

Trey in the Blue Bonnets last year, he looks so happy and totally oblivious to the fact that bees were circling around him.

He has always loved taking baths, he now likes to streak around the house before and after taking a bath. It is hard to believe he used to just stay wrapped up in his towel.
Trey's first haircut.
Trey was so excited when he learned that he would be a big brother. I'm sure he will have the same reaction when the baby is really here.
Grrrrrrrrrrrr

I just wanted to post a few of my favorite pictures of Trey since I am a little late in starting this blog.

We finally did it!

I have been saying that I would start a blog since Trey was born. He is almost 18 months old and our second bundle of joy is due at the end of May. I probably would have procrastinated a little longer if we had not moved. So we will give this a try and I will attempt to keep our blog updated with cute (and current) pictures of our growing family. We hope you enjoy watching our family expand! Love, The Henry's
